IT IS NOT NORMAL TO GO THROUGH THESE THINGS ...

You may have been going through a cycle of pain, negative treatment and abuse in your relationship and marriage and have concluded that it is a normal event in life.

Well, let me tell you this today..

It is not normal to be neglected and abandoned emotionally.

It is not normal to be talked down on and cut in pieces by the person you truly love and claim to love you.

It is not normal to be cheated on consistently and everyone keeps saying such is the way of men or women.

It is not normal that your partner does not care about your feelings or opinions on things in your relationship.

It is not normal for your relationship to keep removing from you instead of adding to your life.

It is not normal to see your partner and all you feel is sadness and a great sense of overwhelm.

It is not normal to feel suicidal in your relationship because of the pain it is consistently bringing to you.

It is not normal for you to be in pain everyday because of your relationship or marriage.

It is not normal to be in a relationship with someone and you know that there are others like you who are competing for their attention just the way you do too.

It is not normal to be in a relationship where you are always doing the work for two because the other person has left the slack for you to keep picking up all the time.

It is not normal that your mental and emotional health is deteriorating because of your relationship.

It is not normal that the bad in your relationship outweighs the good you are getting from it.

See guys, I am not trying to paint to you that relationships or marriages should be perfect. That would be a fallacy because people are not perfect but I am trying to paint to you that there should be some level of happiness that you get  in your relationship or marriage.

There should be some level of joy and fulfillment and that your relationship or marriage should bring to you.

If this is absent, then your emotional and mental health are in great jeopardy which would also affect your physical health in no time.

You can choose to fight through the storm to make things better or even stay through the abuse, pain and bitterness if that’s what you want. However, please don’t ever think what you are going through is a norm or the way of life.
