Atiku’s election will hasten Igbo Presidency –Obaze

The Chairman of the Atiku-Obi Presidential Campaign Council in Anambra State, Mr Oseloka Obaze, has said the election of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the February 16 presidential election will hasten the chances of the South-East to produce Nigeria’s President.
He said Atiku’s running mate, Peter Obi, would become the long-sought President of Igbo extraction if Atiku emerges victorious.
Obaze said this in Awka, Anambra State, on Monday. He said any vote for Atiku “is also a vote for Peter Obi, who will be saddled with the responsibility of managing the country’s economy.”
He said Atiku had what he described as executive democratic and political experience, just like Obi who he described as “a working and resourceful match.”
Obaze said, “Over 40 million Igbo people cannot afford to wait for another four years to realise the so-called promise of being handed over to by the APC government.
“Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and Babatunde Fashola, both potential 2023 presidential candidates, have said publicly and without any apologies that President Buhari would hand over to the South-West in 2023.
“Their permutation does not feature Ndigbo.”
He urged the people of the South-East to vote massively for Atiku and Obi.

MY SUICIDE NOTE

I’ve read about two suicide cases in two days. One was about #segun and the other one about the UNN student who had a first class. A lot of people’s comments have been so cruel and all they call them is cowards, selfish, weak and so many other unprintable names. These guys and many more who have committed or attempted suicide didn’t want to die. They love life like you and me but all they wanted to was to end the pain and dying looks like it’s what gives them the avenue to do that. Pain can alter you forever. Pain can make you unrecognizable to yourself. What we also need to know is that everyone’s threshold for pain is different. I have had two babies and I can tell you that the last pain nearly took me out until the gynecologist offered me an option for Caesarean or Epidural Injection.
